Step 1
Determine your electrical usage, ignoring smaller items like coffee pots, televisions, etc. This list should include larger items, such as air conditioners, hot water heaters, furances, hot tubs, pools, car chargers or wired shops.
Step 2
Once we have determined your electrical needs, we can help you choose a location to put the home generator. Popular locations are in the garden, along the side or rear of the home. There are certain requirements in terms of spacing from gas or electrical meters, distance from the building and distance from windows.
Step 3
Now that we have chosen the right generator and transfer switch, and know where we going to place these items, we can price the equipment and provide an estimate to you.
Step 4
We can now begin the installation process. A pre-cast concrete pad will be laid down. The generator and transfer switch will be delivered and installed. We work with local electricians and gas fitters to get this done.
