Started by Harry and Hilda Broer in 1990, H. Broer Equipment Sales & Service Inc has been a family owned and operated business for nearly thirty years. While the company was originally intended to fill a niche market in the rail industry, as the years passed, it has diversified extensively.

HBI is the leading retailer in the rail industry for South Western Ontario. HBI offers mobile railcar movers from Rail King which are easy to operate, quality mechanism and have low emissions. HBI also serves the local markets with construction equipment and tractors from Yanmar, gate openers from Door Demon, agricultural equipment, lawn tractors, lawn mowers and snow blowers from Columbia. We also carry yard equipment from Briggs & Stratton, Easy-Kleen and Makita. We offer reliable generators from home standby, RV gensets, to commercial standby & industrial power solutions you can trust. We carry only the best from Briggs & Stratton & Onan.

From nuts and bolts, hoses and fittings, to Door Demon rail attachments, you can be sure we have what you need. Our parts department is available to service customers via walk-in, phone or our online store. With on-site service and fully-trained, licensed technicians, we provide full service for Cummins, Onan, Deutz, Yanmar, Rail King, Columbia and Hatz.
