GRU-G04 Cranes for loading and unloading of rails - Colmar

No. 4 GRU - G04 for loading and unloading of rails – threepiece-boom, two hydraulic cylinders for handling. Structure in robust electro-welded steel work. Max. lifting capacity 900 kg.

The hydraulically driven cranes are fitted with hydraulic clamps for rail lifting and can swivel around the vertical axis by 135°, to the right and to the left, by means of hydraulic motors. A lighting system for night work is supplied as well.

Two control stations, mounted on each of the two wagons, with their canopy sheltering the operator, are available.

The two control stations are both provided with two control panels, one for maneuvering the cranes on the left, the other for maneuvering the cranes on the right of the wagon. The cranes can be controlled from either panel, individually or in pair.

The power unit is installed on either wagon, and consists of:

• Diesel engine, Deutz, Step 3A - 54 kW.

• Hydraulic unit.

One only operator can manage the whole set of wagons and cranes.
